We’ve all seen the MPD Facebook status updates. He loves me. He loves me not. Whoa is me. I hate him…I love him again. 

So many self-proclaimed relationship gurus offer up so much ill-advised relationship advice that they themselves probably have not put into practice. Every relationship is different, except 2 things: love should always be returned & relationships should always include three. No, not your single girlfriend who keeps up male drama. Not your homeboy who barely respects women, or even the one in a serious relationship. him+her+HIM. It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3.

I. Can’t. Sleep. My mind is crowded. My heart was so full that it fell. Overload. These are the parts they don’t see when it’s over. Love denies no man, but trust has its favorites…

I feel bad for her mostly because I know what it’s like to give your all into building someone up only to have them bend over backwards for someone other than you.

If you knew today was the last day before your big break (financially, academically, emotionally, or career-wise), would you respond to today’s stresses differently? Live today as if your life was changing tomorrow. I promise you’ll find that today is more worth it than you think. Be pretty. Stay chic. Smile :)

I almost got into my attitude mode this morning. My buttons were slightly pushed. I was ready to go all the way there, but I had to remind myself that sweating the small stuff is so high school. If I don’t like the way things are, I have to be proactive in changing them, rather than overreacting to the inevitable. There’s no reward in allowing small things done by small people with little to no place in your life to get to you. Bite the bullet. Hit them where it hurts-IGNORE THEM. The best attention you can give to a petty situation is no attention at all. Remind yourselves of this daily and slowly but surely your attitude will fade, or at the very least, it’ll be less likely to overreact. Be pretty. Stay chic.

I started at my usual size 5 1/2, and worked my way down until I found the perfect size 2 1/2. This is my first day wearing them. They’re very comfortable, so no complaints from me. Be pretty.
